@billy Simply by editing your 1st post and adding something like [Solved] to the title, though I am unsure whether there is a forums recommendation about the how ( @mitu ? ). Some seem to prefer adding it at the titles start, others add it to the end. Most use square brackets, some regular ones.

In Raspi-Config, Select Advanced, Overscan and then Disable. That should allow your GUI to extend to the edges of your screen. if it's still not to your liking you'll need to change the Overscan value in Config.txt in the /boot partition on your MicroSD card.

@guybrush said in New TV: Black frame | Undervoltage | Upgrade to Nespi + and 3B+ | Micro SD card:

Will I have problems with smooth gaming when storing the games on the NAS and would the Pi 3+ make a difference in that department?

I'd say the difference you'll see is negligible, since once the game/rom is loaded in the emulator, there's little network activity or file transfers over the network. One exception would be - maybe - CD based games where the game is loaded from the CD images (.iso/.bin/.chd). The network speed would help the loading times. But if you are already content with the Pi 3 and the current setup (ROMs on the NAS), it wouldn't make a noticeable upgrade.

Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
If you installed Raspbian and RetroPie afterwards, then make sure you installed the Jessie version, RetroPie is not supported on the newest Raspbian release (Stretch).

RetroPie is not full screen on my display. I have tried almost every conventional method, but nothing works.

@jabbafeet I don't expect other people's numbers to be useful for other cases, as different TV sets have different requirements. I'd encourage you to follow the steps mentioned in the previous posts and understand what ranges work for you in the end. In one monitor I have I don't need these, in another one I end up needing negative values for some reason.
